 The Expert Knowledge Network is a professional network and a content network for business consultants and subject matter experts. We help you get better connected, market yourself and help you monetize your content. There are many ways to use The Expert Knowledge Network, either as a Learner or an Expert. We have all become lifelong learners so even those of us who teach others never stop learning ourselves. As a professional network, we offer you better ways to work within your own professional community and build your own personal brand as an expert with unique knowledge and experience. Whether you are working as an independent consultant or employed by a company in some capacity, you can use The Expert Knowledge Network to expand your business network, build your reputation as someone with expertise in your industry or even help you find a better job. Because we reach across the divide between the academic community and the business community, you can leverage our network in ways that bring both these worlds together. Academic experts can build their own career and reputation in the same way and also find better ways to connect to the business world. You can begin by simply registering as an expert in the network. You will be listed in the network for free. If you want to build your presence in the network you can select a Content Site template and build your own page where you can promote yourself and your expertise. We offer all the social networking tools you need to engage others in meaningful dialogue throughout our network of Learners and Experts.  

As a Content Network   

     If you have the ability to express your knowledge and experience then you can use The Expert Knowledge Network to communicate your expertise in many different formats and mediums. You can begin by creating a Content Site within the network. We have created templates that give you all the options and publishing tools you need to create content in any format including text, audio, video and rich media. Our simple self-publishing business model gives you the means to give your content away for free or sell it for a price. Our Content Management System gives you the means to create and edit your content, set the price, and sell it directly through our site. With our Self-Publishing Model, we only charge 15% of the gross price plus minimal distribution fees depending on the medium. Since most content is distributed online, the distribution charges cover the cost of broadband distribution, including support and maintenance. We charge a flat rate for content sold through our system and the distribution fees are deducted during the sales process. If you want to distribute your content for free then you can purchase bandwidth in packages that meet your individual needs. All our Content Sites come with some bandwidth included so you may not need to buy any additional bandwidth. If you are distributing video content we can furnish you with a bandwidth calculator that will help you determine how much bandwidth you really need, measured in viewer-minutes (email services@utakethecredit.com and ask for our usage calculator). Content Sites

     There is no charge to register as an expert in The Expert Knowledge Network. When you register as an expert you will be included in our Directory of Experts for free. We offer a variety of Content Sites designed to fit your individual needs. All our Content Sites give you access to our Content Management System (CMS) which allows you to create and edit content, interact with others in the network, and set pricing if you choose to sell your content. The CMS also allows you to monitor traffic and bandwidth usage. If you are distributing video content we can furnish you with a bandwidth calculator that will help you determine how much bandwidth you really need, measured in viewer-minutes (email services@utakethecredit.com and ask for our usage calculator). The system also handles all sales transactions and we provide the necessary accounting support.

     Our feature set for our Content Sites include all the most popular media and networking tools including: News; Video Gallery for on-demand video; Blogs; Polls; Live Broadcast Events; Form builder; RSS feeds & aggregator; and multiple page sites with navigation. Premier Consultants Group

          Anyone with business or academic expertise in any industry sector can join The Expert Knowledge Network as an expert. Our Premier Consultants Group consists of consultants whose expertise has been recognized by their industry peers. Our Premier Consultants participate in our enhanced Referral Program (See Expert Services), may be eligible to participate in our Knowledge Networking Events and, if they submit their content to our Publishing House, it will be automatically reviewed by our staff. If you would like to apply to our Premier Consultants Group just submit an application at the experts entrance. Include three client references and three peer references from associates that also have expertise in your field. Your application will be processed by our review panel. This process varies in length depending on the nature of your expertise. The review processes includes reference interviews and if necessary follow up questions to clarify the exact nature of your expertise. Apply today at the expert entrance.
