Unlike a professional association or trade organization, The Expert Knowledge Network is a for-profit business designed to help you create and monetize content and better market yourself through business development initiatives. Premier Consultants Group
Anyone with expertise in any specialized area of knowledge can create a site in The Expert Knowledge Network and utilize most of our services. We have a special group of Premier Consultants with whom we work on a very close basis. We offer some additional services to members of our Premier Consultants Group, Including our enhanced referral service. We also offer special opportunities to participate in our own events and workshops. Premier Consultants also receive automatic review of any content they wish to submit to our Publishing House. We offer many services for our experts. One question we often get is whether these services are available only to our Premier Consultants. All of these services are available to any expert who registers as an expert on our network. If you are selected to join our team of Premier Consultants then we will provide enhanced marketing services and consider your content for publication by our Publication House (Excel Press).This also qualifies you for consideration as a workshop presenter under our own branded workshops and Knowledge Networking Events. You may always choose to host your own live events in which case our broadcasting services and facilities are available to you as well. Our Premier Consultants also benefit from our enhanced referral service, connecting them to more job opportunities and more opportunities to partner with other Premier Consultants. We broadcast most of our live events over the Internet with interactive features that allow the broadcast audience to participate in the event some events are broadcast to anyone to watch in their home or office while others are secure broadcasts, delivered only to participating venues that provide lock down access which makes it nearly impossible for anyone to pirate the broadcast content. We provide the video production crew for our own events. We have vendors available if you want to host your own event. We are also introducing Broadcast Affiliates later this year that will have venues configured with equipment that you can operate yourself, eliminating the need for a production crew. We do not guarantee live broadcasts unless they are held at one of our partners’ facilities. That is because we have business relationships in place to ensure that these facilities can meet our connectivity requirements. If you are considering hosting a live event we require that you use one of our partner facilities so that you can be assured of the best possible quality and reliability in broadcasting your event.

Workshops & Knowledge Networking Events
If you would like to participate as a presenter in one of our workshops or Knowledge Networking Events please contact us to see if you can join our team of Premier Consultants. You can fill out the application form above to begin the evaluation process. Please don’t hold yourself back. We work with many business consultants who have specialized knowledge in their field that is not recognized by any form of certification or accreditation. In fact, we look for just this kind of expert knowledge. We admire and respect those who create new knowledge in the real world through the accumulation of experience and skills over the years and we look for opportunities to help capture and monetize this content for you. We also have editors and writers available who can work with you to help create your presentation. We specialize in all forms of production work, including print, video, and interactive.
Even if we do not have a place for you on our team of Premier Consultants you can still host your own events and utilize most of our services. Consulting Services
We have great respect for real world knowledge and experience and we do not restrict access to our services based on any form of certification. We do recognize certain consultants who have distinguished themselves as having expertise that is recognized by their peers or have produced content of superior value. If you qualify you may be able to join our team of Premier Consultants. We provide special benefits for our Premier Consultants including additional marketing, referrals, and opportunities to participate in our branded workshops. Any consultant using our network may use the network to market and promote their consulting services. They may also purchase additional marketing services, host their own content and even broadcast live events. The difference is that our Premier Consultants do that under our Premier brand and receive some services for free.
We apply Baldrige processes to everything we do at The Expert Knowledge Network and that includes our consulting services. These processes are easy to apply and they give you a meaningful way to inspire your clients to implement your recommendations. Moreover, the Baldrige processes provide you with added credibility and a guaranteed way to apply continuous improvement processes to everything you do. We “walk our talk” at The Expert Knowledge Network and we ask our Premier Consultants to do the same. We will be making our Expert Directory viewable by the public later in 2009. All our experts are automatically listed in our Expert Directory.
Referral Services
Premier Consultants are eligible to use our referral service that matches our Premier Consultants with potential sales opportunities. We facilitate this process throughout the sales and implementation cycle at critical steps that benefit both the client and the consultant with improved communications.
Step 1) We conduct a needs analysis with the client and define the basic requirements and deliverables.
Step 2) We match these requirements with multiple consultants in the network. We help the client make a first and second choice.
Step 3) The Consultants provide an estimate of the cost and time to achieve the deliverables. Our fees are included in the estimate.
Step 4) If travel is required these costs will be determined by us and added to the estimate.
Step 5) We present the quote to the client. We work with our Premier Consultants to arrange their travel arrangements.
Step 6) We apply our own assessment process that begins with a three page narrative by the consultant following the completion of the project describing the deliverables and a spreadsheet of actionable items for the client to accomplish.
Step 7) We invoice the consulting fee and collect payment.
Step 8) We process the payment and pay the consultant.
Step 9) We conclude the assessment process with a client feedback survey followed up with a closing call to enquire about the nature of the client experience. While we do not provide direct customer service to resolve outstanding issues we do provide client feedback to the consultant and if necessary, make recommendations to the consultant on resolving any issues.
Step 10) The final step in our process addresses future needs and we make recommendations for further follow up to address these needs, either by us or by the consultant.
Instructional Design Services
Our Preferred Production Partners provide a wide variety of services that range from helping to script simple presentations to complete content creation services. Our Premium Service Partners include some of the finest production companies in the market including film and television producers and companies specializing in computer simulation training. Self Publishing Services
All our experts have the option to self-publish content on The Expert Knowledge Network. Once you have registered as an expert you can choose your Content Site plan. The plan you choose will determine what kind of content you can publish. We support print, audio, video and rich media or interactive media. We also support both on-demand video and live broadcasting. Live events must be broadcast from an approved venue. See Broadcast Locations for a list of available venues. All our content is delivered through our e-commerce system with pay-per-view pricing. We charge 15% plus basic service fees. Each Content Site Plan has its own fee schedule. Refer to your Content Site Plan for details. In general, if you charge certain minimum prices for your content you can easily calculate your break-even or payout level. Publishing House
Our Publishing House services are exclusive to our Premium Consultants. Our Publishing House oversees the creation of premium content under our imprint, Essential Quality Press. We automatically review any content submitted by our Premier Consultants. We also offer content strategy services. Initial consultation is free to our Premier Consultants. We will entertain any project or concept ideas you would like to offer up for consideration. We have a production plan for specific program series and we are always looking for content that fits into series that are currently under production. Print Services
We are adding printing services for your books, pamphlets and other printed content. Details will be available soon.

Our expertise in digital media includes integrated marketing services. If you are self-published we can help you design a strategy for creating your personal brand and building an audience for your content.
